As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be building the core of our development platform and ensure that our engineers can work together effectively and efficiently. You get to take ownership of our AWS cloud infrastructure and our continuous integration & deployment pipelines.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You drive cross-team engineering initiatives to ensure the reliability and stability of our software and, every few weeks, together with the product & engineering team you ship new features for our cloud-based software that immediately bring real value to our customers
- You become a precious part of our Engineering team and with your experience, you contribute significantly to the further success of remberg.
- You take an active role in shaping our engineering culture and the future of our platform.
- You own our AWS cloud stack and help get us ready for the next phase of growth.
- You are responsible for building tools, components, and DevOps processes to empower our product teams to build, test, deploy and monitor their app.
- You contribute to the creation of better metrics, SLOs, dashboards, and tools to help our product teams make data-driven decisions.
- You create tools to improve the overall performance, reliability, and observability of the technical platform of remberg.
- You find the right spot between performance, security, and simplicity.
YOUR PROFILE
You are looking for a challenging, fast-paced environment and have already been able to prove in a similar position before that you are resilient, self-starter, data-driven, highly reliable and structured and know what needs to be done to help build and scale our software.
- You have a background in Backend Engineering (preferably with Node).
- You bring several years of work experience as DevOps/Platform Engineer and are more than ready for a new challenge to prove your skills.
- You have experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies (preferably: Terraform or CloudFormation)
- Cloud Computing, Containerisation, Chaos Engineering, and SLOs draw a smile on your face.
- You constantly develop yourself personally and professionally, like to experiment, and are outstandingly proactive.
- Nice to have: Experience in a fast-scaling SaaS environment.
- You are a proactive problem solver - you are willing to leave code and engineering practices in a better shape than when you first encountered them
